The Diamonds coaching staff have decided to do something that many "older age-group" coaches do not do. We have decided to go back to Elementary School! No, not literally. But we have determined that by teaching advanced concepts of the game to younger kids, we can better prepare them for a future in Softball. So that's what we're going to do!

The Diamonds will expand its organization to include a 10U team consisting of mostly 8 and 9 year olds. Our goal is to teach them to love and respect the game and to be good team mates. But we will also teach them to think. In other words, we want to teach them what 14U teams are teaching thier teams.

The Diamonds hope to play 6 tournaments in Spring 2010. We will also offer weekly practices indoors at Player's Edge in Tyson's Corner. The goal of the indoor practices will be to provide hitting, pitching, and general skills development to the players.
